Will is the CEO of Childnet International. Will joined Childnet in 2000, and was appointed CEO in 2009. He is also a Director of the UK Safer Internet Centre.

He is an Executive Board member of the UK Council for Internet Safety and founded and chairs the UKCIS Early Warning Working Group of helplines, hotlines and law enforcement. He also sits on Meta’s Safety Advisory Board, the Anti-Bullying Alliance Advisory Board and the Expert’s Panel of Internet Matters.

In his time at Childnet, Will has led the development of a range of award-winning internet safety materials and programmes for children, parents and carers, and teachers and schools. Will is married and has five children.

As part of the #So.Me project, Childnet will lend their experience through the Advisory Panel. They will also collaborate on the development of tips and guidance around the benefits and risks of social media, based on study findings.
